Can anybody let me know what is required for the deposit when i pick up the hire car.
It says credit card deposit, how much will this be.

I think they just swipe your card and you have to have at least £250 on it. They dont take it then give you it back it is just a card swipe.
Typically this is $200 - $500, just as a 'swipe' without taking any payment. In many cases they don't even bother taking a swip at all.
We have used Dollar with the gold insurance pack the last few times and have not been asked for a credit card.

Certainly Dollar at MCO on the Gold option never take a card swipe. Other locations it's hit and miss.

When it comes to car parking, car hire etc my hubby always looks for the best deal and so we have used various companies until this year when we started using the ov site car hire - he says its easy to do and we found it cheaper then before and we were really satisfied with the car last time so we have just booked car hire again through the forum - just another option for you to think about.
