The queue/line for this ride is really interesting as you are in a most authentic looking New York subway station location. Universal brought in graffiti artists from New York to make it look even better! There are news flashes on the overhead TV screens about the attack on New York by a giant ape (King Kong).

You might also like to know that King Kong is the largest animatronic animal ever built. And, believe me, that's pretty large!

You're trying to escape by taking an overhead cable car but King Kong is lurking and tries to get you! There's even a helicopter crash and your cable car has a rough ride. Did you make it out in one piece? What happens to Kong?

As a family we love King Kong, we still maintain his breath smells of bananas !!!!

In 'Florida Homes and Travel' March 2002 edition, they recommend that you visit King Kong soon as it is rumoured to be closing ! <img src=icon_smile_sad.gif border=0 align=middle>

I purposely didn't post this yesterday when I found out, in case anyone thought it was an April Fool.

Would be a shame to close it, has anyone heard any more??

I can't believe such a popular attraction is closing.

Unless they are refurbishing. I think this is still one of the best rides-although I usually have to be drunk to go on it-it's a wonder I can remember anything of it!
