This is a great relaxing place, particularly if you have kids.

There's a beach (so take buckets and spades), kids' play area, marina, picnic tables and a Crabby Bill's restaurant. Easy parking alongside the road by the beach/picnic area.

To get there take the 192 to St Cloud, go past the Silver Spurs stadium (on your left), past the Wal-Mart (also on the left), past the Osceola Farmers' Market (on your left again) and you'll reach the small town of St Cloud. Turn left down New York Street if you want to have a look at the historic district and then right when you reach the Town Hall. Go to the end of the road and turn left onto Pennsylvania and continue until you reach Lakeshore Boulevard (T-junction). You've arrived.

Sounds lovely Blott, not been there before. I will add that to my ever increasing list of OTHER things to do when we go next:D I just never quite fit it all in, how on earth people manage going to Florida just a couple of times is beyond me..so much to see and do..always[8D]

That's where we went for the July 4 celebrations last year, and from where we saw the shuttle launch...:D

We love this place and it's only 10 mins from our villa. Spent many happy hours there. Crabby Bills had started doing a buffet breakfast on weekends when we were there last. Didn't get to try it but it looked lovely.

It is nice to walk along the boardwalk and around the marina too.

They also have picknick tables and bar-b-q's so you could spend all day there.

STEVE .
The local children swim in the lake so I do not think they would do this if it is not safe or clean and we have seen parents with them .
Lots of people have family BBQ on the picnic tables and live in streets near by .
Our poolman lives in CALIFORNIA STREET and he told us about the new buildings going up and there is plans for more things in the future .
