Just heard on BBC news that work is to start next week on the new Harry Potter ride at Universal Studios. Not due for completion until 2009. Here's the video:

now this may be the one thing that would get me into the universal parks, because with what's there at the moment i'm still not convinced it's for me and my family

Its not just one ride, there will be a few different rides plus the castle. Sounds really neat.

Duelling dragons is to be incorporated into HP World. Some other shows I think in that area will be gone to make way

A lot of people in the UK read HARRY POTTER books even adults so the children may take there parents to ORLANDO .
We have a few friends and there parents are worse than there kids .
Lets hope it works for more bookings for villa owners [sporty]

Yes it says that the new area will comprise of some of the existing lost continent and some other yet undeveloped area. Sounds good[msnsmile2]

My youngest is sooooooo excited about this. It will be her 21st the year it opens (assuming it keeps to schedule!) and I think this might just be a big must for her and her group of friends who have attended the midnight sales of the books, dressed up in the Potter gear since they were much younger!

We saw this on the BBC last night too.

They are also going to have the Village Hogsmead as part of the attraction too. Should be brilliant.

Another reason to go to Florida, if there isn't enough already
