View Full Version : the distance between Oak island cove to Lindfields
Hi
We have just returned from Oak island Cove in our friends are booking to go to Lindfields, to give them an idea of distance from Oak island cove to the red lobster i can tell them but how much further is it on to Linfields, looking at the map its not that far ten minutes maybe ??
You've got Emerald island then its the next community isnt it.

In a car it would be just a couple of mins if they use Funie Steed Road[msnwink] After Emerald its Sunset lakes then Lindfields[msnwink]

As Julie says in her reply Linfield is two minutes from Oak Island cove along funnie steed road, this has been tarmaced now and is a good road, we use it often when we want to go to Walmart on the 27. If you want to go along 192 to Linfields it is abour 5 minutes drive further on than the turn off for Oak Island Cove.

Funie Steed Road, that was the road i was trying to remeber:D
the Walmart on the 27 we couldnt find it we ended up going to the one off sand lake road, a bit out of our way[:I]
Eric is Funie Steed tamaced all the way along now as the very west end where it meets West side blvd wasn't a while back?

Janny, it is tarmaced all the way from us at oak island cove to Sunset lakes and beyond to Lindfields but is not from the 4 way stop on Formosa Boulevard heading east to the old lake wilson road, this is still a dirt track

Thanks Eric but I was thinking of the other end of the road -from Lindfields onwards -away from your base -Any idea if this end is done?

Hi Janny, very sorry,I'm with you know, it's Monday!! to be honest I don't know what they have done from Lindfields onwards,were not out until November so I can't help you either.
