View Full Version : Dinner shows
Any one heard of Fiasco's?? If so whats its like can anyone recommend it?
Thanks
Hi Chris,
I have not been to this dinner show but if you do a search on google you will find some information.
This is a little bit of info I found:
There's a new dinner attraction in Orlando's International Drive tourist corridor that features possibly the most chaotic service of fine food you've ever witnessed, with absolutely the worst entertainment in the land, featuring a high-wire walker who's afraid of heights, a singer who thinks he's Neil Diamond, an organist we can't keep off the drink and a mediocre magician who thinks he's a pop star. Not to mention all the other wanna-be stars reduced to waiting tables.
That's the formula for Fiasco's, a new entrant in Orlando's dinner attraction sweepstakes, and the owners are betting that bad equals belly laughs. To judge by the comments in the guest book, they just might be right.
Another part of the Fiasco's formula is to offer a far wider range of meal choices than the typical dinner show where the selection seldom gets past one meat entree and one vegetarian. Fiasco's boasts a four-course dinner with choices under headings ranging from English to Brazilian to Kosher, to Italian, to Indian, to Balti (a subset of South Asian cooking more commonly found in England).
Pre-show festivities start at 6:30pm and the main dinner show starts at 7:30pm. The recommended arrival time is 6:30 to 6:45pm, as there is reduced main meal selection after 7pm. The show finishes at approximately 9:15pm. One kid per paying adult gets in free on Thursdays. For reservations, call 866-GO-FIASCO or 407-226-7220. And when you do, specify the "interactive" or "safe" zone.
Fiasco's is located at 7430 Universal Boulevard, near Sleuths, and just south of Wet n Wild.
Hope this is of some use to you.
Karen
Hi Dawsy,
Whilst browsing around for some info (always interested in new places to eat![msntongue])
I came across the following notice in the Orlando Dining Network which seems to suggest that
Fiasco's may not be operating any more ?
Extract reads: (quote)
As of this page's last publication on April 29,2007, our records indicate that this business has ceased operations. This information is subject to change without notice. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of this information. For final verification, we strongly recommend that you contact the local directory assistance service for the Orlando area. (unquote)
Might therefore be worth ringing the info numbers that are in Karen's reply to see if it's still on the go! [msnsmile]

When I asked this question on behalf of one of my guests I was advised that if they spent a little more thay could go to Cirque De Soleil followed by the Rain Forest Cafe
These guests have now returned and loved it
I have not been to a dinner show myself for years
Whatever you do,have a good time;it is almost impossible to do anything else in Florifa

I'd like to try this show Martin, may seem like a silly question but are there any animals involved in this one?
