View Full Version : Oak Island Cove
I am looking at a villa in this area. Is it a quiet area? I was told that there were community parks nearby for the kids to play. But from what I've read on this site there will be no time for that anyway.
Thank:)
We have stayed at Oak Island twice, and loved it very peaceful we were in a Cul-de-sac, I`m sorry I don`t know of a community park but I`m sure one of the true experts will know the answer to this one.
You are pretty close to just about everything, there are some shops and resteraunts at he top of the community just as you turn off the 192 including a Winn dixie,Outback Steak house TGI`s and of course you are not too far from the 192.

We own a villa on oak island cove,we of course think it is a great place to stay,as it is a walled estate with just the one entrance/exit there is no passing traffic, the only traffic is to the homes on the estate. There are some 80 homes so it is a small estate of mostly 6 and 4 bed executive homes.
Added to the points made by Kym of being very close to everything we think it is ideal, there is no community park on the estate, most homes have a games room and of course the pool is what kids enjoy the most, quite often when you ask young children what they enjoyed about going to Florida it is the pool that comes out number 1.
Where ever you decide to stay you will enjoy your visit without doubt.
Best wishes Eric
