About to sort out car hire for hols for 2 weeks in Orlando in April.

With uscarhire on this site you can hire a Compact 4 door with Gold option ( currently upgrade option to intermediate ) with Budget for £248 for 2 weeks
Includes extra drivers I believe.

Silver option - £224

Going direct through [link edited - a car rental company website] it is a slightly different experience

Group B ( eg Ford Focus )is £230, but not sure if it includes tank of fuel.
Pay $9 a day for extra driver
I think it offers the same insurance cover, taxes etc as above
Looks like you have to pay on the day.( Want to pay before I go )

Can someone clear this up for me?

I don't want to get this wrong..............or have to pay surprise extras............has happened to me before.[msnsad]

What confidence can I have with booking through uscarhire?

Cheers

If you book through uscarhire and take the gold option there will be no surprises, evrything is included as well as additional drivers.

Steve like Karen we always use uscarhire and opt for the gold cover which includes even a full tank of fuel and they have never let us down:))

We always book through the above site and choose the gold option with dollar.
This is an excellent package.
If you go to the site above and click on suppliers it allows you to compare the different companies

Hi Gordon

I cannot comment on the other car rental site, however I have now used UScarhire 12 times personally and have had many satisfied guests hire their cars from them as well. I would recommend the gold option as it usually works out cheaper than the silver due to the charge the rental company makes for re-fueling the car. The price you see with uscarhire is the price you pay. The insurance cover is all you will ever need so you know exactly where you are. I would be worried about reserving a car and not making any payment until the day as you will have limited comeback if the car is not available. Looking at the prices you quote uscarhire £248 all inclusive. the other company £230 (lets assume it does include a tank of petrol) + $9/ day (9x14=$126 which is approx £63) so the other company is charging £293 at best. I would save yourself any worries, and £50, and book through uscarhire

Go with UScarhire from this site every time. I do compare prices etc and they are always the best. Customer service is second to none and Roger and the team have helped me a lot.

I have never found a better deal.

Question.

Got quote direct from Alamo website:-

Chevrolet Cobalt, 4 door compact
Gold option
£275 for 2 weeks

However, on uscarhire website, same car etc.......£258

How come?

This is because the rental companies operate mainly through agents such as ourselves, so they can not undercut our prices. As we do a lot of business, we get preferential rates from them.
