No, you just keep the parking ticket and show it to the attendant when you return.

They give you a pass to put in your car, that is valid for the day, so you can park hop with the car or pop home for a snooze and come back for the fireworks!!

I think the cost is now $10, but I'm sure I will be corrected if that is wrong![msnwink]

Disney is $10 a day, Universal $11 - This was correct in February 2007

Weve just had guests come back & they said they could go back on the same day on the same ticket

If you are going from one Disney park to another, park hopping, the day ticket is still valid for the other park

Also a day in Disney/Universal can be such a long day too[msnsmile2] 8am to midnight sometimes...if your party can hold out that long[msnwink]

Another useful tip is you can drop guests off without paying for parking if you don't want to visit the park yourself. You can drive up to a drop off point that is normally near the main entrance to the park.

We were out to the villa during December 06 and the parking prices for Disney and Universal have gone up to $10 for a car,if you are visiting more than one park during the same day just leave the car at the same parking lot and hop park to park via the monorail. [msnsmile]

I thought the monorail only went between Magic Kingdom and Epcot and does not go to MGM or Animal Kingdom.

the Monorail does only go between Disney, Epcot, some hotels and the TTC.

You can get free disney buses to go to the other parks and resort areas.[msnsmile2]

I don't know if Disney do a similar thing but Universal do valet parking where - for just a few dollars more than standard parking - you can drop off your car near to the entrance then have it delivered there at the end of the day. This is a godsend at the end of a long day when the young kids are on their last legs and really don't want the long walk back to the car park.
We did this everytime we went to Universal and would recommend it to anyone.
