Hi all. We are planning a trip at the end of March and need to make a decision about what dinner show to attend. At first we were going to do the Dixie Stampede than the family started thinking the Hawaiin Luau sounded fun. We have 13 year old twin girls and 9 year old girl. We like the Luau idea but there are 2. One at the Polynesian which I think is indoors and one at Sea World which I think is outside. Can anyone tell me which one is better? I'm also open to your thoughts on the other dinner shows.
Thanks in advance!

We saw Dixie Stampede last summer and we thought it was excellent. The food was good and our 3 girls, who are normally quite fussy eaters, ate everything. If your girls like horses, as ours do, they would really enjoy the show.
We went to the Dixie Stampede last Oct it was very good I am a fussy eater & I was able to eat all the food
Same here - visited Dixie Stampede - enjoyed it so much we went back again on our next trip!
The Luau at the Polynesian Resort is good fun we went here for New Years Eve 2006, if you go to the later show you can watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom, from the Beach at this hotel.
The show was fun we all enjoyed it, there is also a fair bit of Audience Participation if you want to join in.

Thanks all for the good input. So sounds like the Polynesian has the best luau. I also like the idea of seeing the fireoworks from the beach.
Sounds like a lot of you liked the Dixie Stampede as well. Got a decision to make soon!
hi,just to put a spanner in the works , we love dine with samu at seaworld. Not so much a show as such, you sit under cover and help yourself to a pretty good buffet. Then one or more of the whales swim round in a pool very close to where you are sitting and a trainer will give a talk and you get such a buzz from being so close to the whale. Its really relaxing and perfect if you love the big guys, also plenty of oppertunity to get to ask questions.

For something completely different try the Gospel Brunch on Sunday at House of Blues Downtown Disney. Food is good and you can also get 'church!'.
My other favourite is Sleuths-hope it is still going as it's 4 years since I was there.

We went to Dixie Stampede last year and thought it was great. Food was good and my son's thought it was great not to use a knife and fork !!!!!

Totally agree.
We did this show twice in 4 months and loved it both times.
