I am interested in finding out when the schools in America break for their summer vacation? We want to re visit Florida next year but I'm concerned about visiting when the schools are off as I think it will be too busy - is this the case? Thanx in adavnce for your help!:)
School holidays vary from state to state and even within a state but that said the majority will have gone back around mid august time so the end august beg sept is good from the american point of view but still busy from the uk!
I agree the summer holidays are busy not just because of the US school hols but also the British school hols so bear in mind that it will be busy from aroung June to mid Sept
we have been June July and Feb
Feb was probably the best with regards to crowds but the weather was a bit on the milder side still not what we from good ol UK would call cold though
But I wouldnt be put off in June or July either though
I have to say that Florida is the bees knees whatever the time or crowd is like:D

My son has from about the 20th june till about the 3rd of sept off school...not counting any snow days left over.....most people from here go to FL the last few weeks of Aug becauses a lot of USA schools have gone back by then.....
we were just there for 3 weeks from august 1 , the next county to orange (osceole) went back to school at the start of our 2nd week and orange county went back at the start of our 3rd week, and to be honest there wasnt much difference really
