Hello everyone:
I am new here and for that matter new to renting too. I did a search for the community "the Palms at Lake Davenport" and the newest post that a found was 2003. By the sounds of that post things change quickly. Can anyone tell me a bit about the community and what's around there ie. shops, restaurants, fast food places? Any info would be much appreciated. Our fun in the sun starts Feb 1st:)
Thank You in advance.

You can do a search on the site and you will find villas in that area and it will tell you lots about the estate ,
All the villa on these site are owned by private people so you will find some lovely property and feel assured that they are well looked after .

We stayed at The Palms in 1996 when the villas were being built, they are nice large modern homes on a nice estate, you are about a mile from the 192,there are many restaurants and supermarkets within 10 minutes on highway 27 in both directions,Walmart as Cagans Crossing is about 2 miles away.

Have a great time

We stayed at the Palms for last New Year, opposite is Publix and 5 mins away is Walmart. Turn left as you exit, down the 27 and you arrive at lots of fast food restaurants and abt 15mins another Walmart. Lovely estate, shows how much by the fact that this is where we are going again (normally we stay at different places, always had good estates but this was the best so far.)

Hi Donald,

I own a villa on The Palms at Lake Davenport Estates. The community is a mixture of short term rental and residential homes, all really well maintained. It is a really peaceful community but is also within easy reach of shops, restaurants, fast food outlets and banks etc. It is a very short drive to the Disney theme parks too, especially using the short cut route. There is also a community swimming pool, basketball courts, tennis courts and childrens play area.

I am sure you will thoroughly enjoy your time there. If you have booked through one of the 3 sites above, do not be afraid of asking the owner any questions you may have, they will be only too willing to answer your questions and help you to enjoy your vacation in any way that they can.

Have a great time in February.

Karen
