I don`t know if its still going but we went with some friends a few years back and it scared the S**T out of us ,perhaps a good night to take out the mother in law !!

I did a 'LOL' when I saw the title-but when I read on wondered if it is something they do on Halloween as I found it a pretty scary place one Sunday afternoon.
There were a lot of down and outs hanging round the car park-which was pretty deserted and rather scary.
We walked down a road parallel to the main drag-and again more dodgy characters loitering around and again pretty deserted.
Vowed no to go back and I haven't. If I felt like that on a sunny afternoon-I wouldn't dare venture down at night.
JMHO though-be interested to see what everyone else thinks-I thought it had closed down for a refurb anyway

We once went all the way up OBT to West Colonial Drive in search of a Babies R Us we saw in the telephone book.
Big mistake - the further north you get on OBT the seedier it gets. Eventually we were feeling very uncomfortable and wanted to be any place but where we where.
It was only later that we were told this is the red light area <img src=icon_smile_blush.gif border=0 align=middle>.
This put us off venturing into Orlando for good.

You can come all the way down from Mount Dora on the OBT (The Old Dixie Highway). It takes quite a long time-and yes unfortunately the top of the OBT is very seedy and a bit menacing looking-which is a shame.
I think there is a concert venue somewhere around that area-there were a lot of people milling around when we travelled down it-but again unless you feel very comfortable around that area-you just wouldn't want to stop!

Yeh i beleive you john,i think some one got hold of the wrong end of the stick.Night mare on church street is one of those haunted house type of things at church street station with actors inside.we found church street station OK and had a beer in Rose O`Gradys.

Terror on Church Street - October

Is the information you have there current, Jane?? Was just on the forum on Brits in Florida and the information on there is that Church Street Station has actually shut down. The shopping centre there is also under threat.

The Church Street Station website is closed down too and they're advertising for new tenants in the shops and even that ad is out of date as it says for Spring 2002!

Info was on an Orlando visitors site calendar connected to Orlando Sentinel! - but just rang number and you are all right - it's gone! Sorry for that one folks!!!! I'll be in trouble with the bosses now!
