trolley coins?? (in the UK)

Hoping some of you shopping queens can help me here!
You know the things I mean the pound size/shape coins that you get on a key ring for example that you use in trolleys in supermarkets instead of an actual coin.
I've tried charity shops where I'm sure I've seen them before but no luck. I've looked on the internet but everywhere seems to have a minimum order number.

I got mine in Tesco, at the customer service counter. They were for a MS charity.

Julie, you can get them from the Motor Neurone Disease website (a charity very close to my heart), on their gift page here for £1.75 http://www.mndassociation.org/shop/index.html

Sainsbury's always seem to have them with the £1 going to Douglas MacMillan Hospice, may go to a different charity in your area.

most hospices now do their own trolley coins and all the major supermarkets have them at the customer service desks they are usually for a charity, morrisons are for breast cancer and i believe asdas are too
tescos charity this year is whizz kids which supports disabled children getting about by providing wheelchairs and adapted bikes etc

failing all else Julieanne you can also use a euro coin, these work too[msnwink]

Thanks everyone [msnsmile]

I have tried a local hospice but they hadn't any, perhaps with it being close to Christmas they have sold more.
Never thought about actually trying the supermarkets themselves [msnembarrased]
I'm sure I'll get one at one of them - thanks again!

Quick update - one of our lovely OV family was kind enough to send me a spare trolley coin (thanks again Maureen)

And I managed to get 3 more today (for Xmas stocking fillers) from Bon Marche, the charity was McMillan nurses. I put donation in for 4 to make up for the one I was given.

Timpsons, the shoe repair shop, have a nice range of them with a keyring attached. They have some nice designs, too. However, if all else fails, a euro 20c coin does the trick! I am like the queen, I travel without cash[msnembarrased] I keep a euro 20c coin in my car for emergencies.
