Hi, my hubby has recently had his eyes done with the laser treatment, my question is.
His photo on his passport is of him in his glasses, do we take his glasses with us, when we go July, or will it make no difference?[msnscared]
Thanks

Mine now looks completely different as I now have much longer straighter hair than in my passport, I expected them to say something, as they did to my son who has grown up since his, but maybe now they have our finger prints and photos recorded it is not so much of a problem.

I have now done the IRIS scanning so I don't have to show my Passport on returning to the UK....it was great to jump that long queue [msnsmile2]

I don't think it will be a problem. There must be 000,000s of people who pass through Immigration who wear contact lenses as well as glasses and could easily be wearing one or the other at the time. People have different hairstyles, hair colours, etc and that makes no difference so I can't see why glasses should either.

If you've been before then they have the photo they took of your husband the last time, along with his fingerprints, to check.

last time we went was 3 years ago in May, I don't recall giving fingerprints or having photos took[msnscared]

I have had my passport renewed last year, so looks a lot more like me now. But Three years ago I changed a bit of my hair colour especially for our trip over at halloween. I coloured some of it PINK. so my photo looked very different. Didn't seem to be a problem.

I still have pink hair as I loved it so much. and my passport photo has pink hair, what will happen when I decide on another colour.

I sometimes have glasses on and not my contact lenses and have never had a problem, even when they were dark glasses because of sensitivity to light.

My passport photo does not have glasses, but I often wear them in the airport because I am short sighted and need to see the various signs, departure time boards etc. Sometimes I have the specs on when I'm at the checkin or immigration desks and no one has asked me to remove them yet.[msncool]
(Not saying it couldn't happen ....but it never has so far![msnwink])

I wear glasses all the time and my passport photo is showing me not wearing glasses as this is what I was told to do. I haven't had any problems with my passport, even though I wear glasses all the time.

Yes my husband would agree, he had it done last Thursday and his vision is great, wished he had done it years ago[msnsmile]
Looks like we won't need to take his glasses then.
