Have a look at these past topics, they have some ideas. We spent the day at Busch Gardens, but left around 9pm, when it started to get busy and saw new year in, in our pool!

we didn't want to go to a park-so just had a meal at the outback and then along to hotel boardwalk to watch both mgm and epcot fireworks at the same time.

It was a cold night-so was pleased we weren;t hoofing around the parks.

Next day we spent NYE on beach at sarasota-it was 80-and lovely.

Acouple of years ago they closed MK at about 10 am and didn't even allow transfers from Epcot until mid-afternoon. Epcot was crowded as well. We had an eveniong meal booked in Rose & Crown - but my sister-in-law collapsed from the heat/crowds/dehydration while we were waiting for our table. Went home & managed to get a takeaway pizza from a restaurant on the 192. Celebrated NYE round our pool in the end. Ah - best laid plans......etc.
