John the weather will be fab when you go so it depends on how your party would like the water. If you have youngsters with you I would say definately yes, if it's just adults using the pool for a refreshing dip then maybe not.[msnsmile2]
sorry to butt in but we are going over in a weeks time for three weeks and have not chosen to take the pool heat (although we can pay the management co once we are there if we change our mind) do you think we will need the heating. How is the weather just now?
They have had some very hot days lately, but the weather is cooling down now.
I would always suggest my guests have pool heat at this time of year.

Pamela although the days are still lovely and sunny, overnight the temperatures are cooler and without the pool heater and a blanket the pool will struggle to keep warm. We have just returned last weekend and had pool heat during our holiday. I hope that helps, have a lovely vacation.

I would definitely recommend pool heat at this time of year. We were there in September and found we needed the pool heated or our early morning swim would have been just a bit too bracing!!

We were at the villa in early April and just returned, so last 2 weeks of October , we did not have pool heat on either occasion. Very much a personal choice at that time of year in my opinion. We are not evening dippers so that may come into your equation, when deciding.:)
I would definately recommend pool heating, and it is a must if you are going to a place with a spa as well. Have a great trip. Sue
We always recommend pool heat between October and April inclusive. that said, last April was so warm, with temperatures up in the 90s that my guests asked for it to be turned off and we refunded the difference.

I have just had guests return last week who I gave the option to pay locally for pool heat if requied - they did not need it. i always offer the pay locally option to peole in April and October. If th epool heat is turned on before they arrive they will have to pay for it and may not have needed it, this way it is there choice. If my guests had very young children I would recommend it was on. My guests in april also found that they did not need heating.

We are here now and have the pool heat. It makes it much better when you want an early morning or late evening dip.
