Hey all, thought since so many of us are going out there at xmas it might be interesting to know who might even be on the same flights?! Not that we'll be able to recognise each other but it's just funny to know, you never know who you might end up sat next to!!

I'm flying with Virgin on the 17th December, but can;t remember off the top of my head which time flight we're on!!

Hi Tinkerbell with so many of us going there had to be someone on the same flight. We will be easy to spot mum dad, three children all girls, in an advanced state of excitement. Smallest one wearing a birthday badge. Are you also at MVMCP on the 19th?

Four months today till we go out. We are flying LGW - DFW - MCO with AA and then back on the 17th Jan. We have a fifty minute connection in DFW, what a laugh!! What are the chanves of making that, if we don't the next flight doesn't arrive into MCO until 1.00am and we will have departed Inverness at 7.00 am (GMT). It is largely due to the cost that we are taking this routing (for my Mum) as she is flying out with us, she can deal with the grumpy kids!!

We are going to try to make the in-flight staff know of our short turnaround and hope that they can assist us.

Can't wait till we go.

Hi, seems to be quite a few people flying from gatwick on the 17th and 18th of december. We are flying with virgin on the 18th at 11.15 for 15 nights. I checked out the price for flying on the 19th and for 2adults 1child it was £900 pound more and for only 14 nights, anybody else realise this or is there a catch.

Ruth
10-09-2003, 15:05

Yes mumsey, my August guests flew with them and said they were very good. Their son couldn't travel on the return date as he had a really bad migraine and they bent over backwards to help them and rearranged their flight for the following day.

sounds like everyone is flying with Virgin, we have decided (although our first visit this christmas and being in our first year of ownership) are going to fly to Boston on 15th December and then down to Orlando and fly back to Boston on 26th to ski in New England for 1 week, we really wanted to ski this year as we haven't been for years, although looked at going to France between christmas and new year and can't believe they wanted £3600 for travel by Eurostar, catered chalet for 7 nights with no ski hire, etc!
Am looking forward to our first christmas in Florida. :)

This might sound a really stupid question, but has anyone heard of Aer Lingus?
Are they any good?!
Were flying out with them this year on 21st Dec, from Dublin, Random! Never heard of them let alone flown with them, usually go with United Airlines, but thought we'd try something different!
Be interesting to hear about them!
Thanks

Aer Lingus are the Irish National Airline!!! They have been in exsistence for donkeys years they stated operating in 1936!

Aer Lingus, which started operating in 1936, operates flights across Ireland and to Britain, Continental Europe and the United States. Currently operating to 31 destinations in 13 countries, Aer Lingus has a staff committed to the highest standard of customer service and is well positioned for substantial growth in 2000 and beyond.

Hope this helps??[msnwink]
