With 8 days until we fly to FLorida for the first time, i am going through all our clothes and what we should take.
I really am not a short lover and hate wearing them, i have a few cropped boarder trousers and a couple of skirts to take (not really a skirt lover either). My problem is i love my jeans and find them really comfy, so do you think i will be ok to wear cropped jeans during the day at the theme parks?
On hot days here in the uk i wear my jeans and on holidays to Canada i wear them too!
I find them comfy and don't really get too hot - my boarder trousers make me sweat more than jeans do!
I hope these will be suitable or i shall have to go buy new clothes, and where do you find summer clothes here in the Autumn?
Everyone else is sorted, all new suitable clothes, again Mum comes last and forgets about herself, typical.
Please help!

Thank you

Crop jeans will be fine. My advice wold be to wear what ever you feel comfortable in. If on the off chance you find them too hot you can always pop to one of the many Shopping Malls - or even Wal Mart and buy some crop trousers.

Hope this helps.

Diane.

PS - I tend to pack very little as I always find plenty to buy whilst Im out there![msnwink]

You should be find with cropped jeans, but I really would NOT recommend them for wearing on the water rides.

You will be very uncomfortable walking around in wet jeans waiting for them to dry out!!!![msncry]

I agree with Caroline - and if you need stuff there go to somewhere like Gap and get a couple of little skirts to wear.

I would definitely agree that jeans are not a good idea for the water rides. Whenever I see anyone coming off one of the rides where you get really wet wearing dripping jeans I always think how uncomfortable it looks no matter how hot a day it is - they must take forever to dry out!

There's also a Beals in the Osceaola Mall on 192 at junction with Hoagland next traffic lights up from Walmart. Next door in Mall they have a Beals clearance and at the very end they have a Ross Dress for Less where you should also be able to find 3/4 trousers in all sizes.

Personally I prefer the Beals Outlet at Marker 13 on 192, Monday is 50+ 10% discount and now on a Friday it's 49- 10% day. They have clearance rails where you get different coloured dots marking the discounts from 20% up to 95%. They also have a frequent shopper card which is clipped for each $10 you spend. I have nearly filled one so will have a good shop when I'm next over, this entitles you to 20% discount. Bargain heaven or what[^]

Cropped jeans will be fine, but as others have said not for the water rides! You can get cropped lightweight trousers from GAP at Premium Outlet Mall for very little, I tend to live in mind out there whatever time of year! You might need a full pair of jeans for the evening when it can get cooler.

What you have and what you can buy over there sounds fine. I know people have said before that virtually anything goes, and you will see all sorts.

The best we saw however, was a lady in the queue for Universal wearing an outfit the same as I had bought the previous day (cotton check shorts and top). Very nice - thing is though that they were PYJAMAS - not the snazzy little outfit she thought it was. Never mind though, she must have been comfortable in them, I know they are comfy for sleeping in.

Have a good holiday.
