Has anyone bought the $85 3 month Costco passes? Says you have to show ID, but it doesn't mention being a US citizen. My sister has offered to get these tickets (which sound incredible value) for us, but don't want to arrive there and not be able to get in due to being English.

Sorry Kate, should say if it is for Costco itself, you can use your UK membership.

Sorry, should have said the pass is for Universal studios and IOA and is valid for entry everyday for 3 months. it costs $85 for adults or children and is purchased from Costco or Costco online.

Kate

We've bought these. They are just ordinary Universal tickets - don't think you'll need ID. We'll be using them in Feb; that's when the 3 months will begin.

Thanks, since I posted I found all the details on the Costco website and although it says you need ID, it doesn't say they are only for US citizens, so I think we will get them, they are such good value.

I have just paid $119.95 for a one year power pass for Universal/IOA.

I realise this has black out dates but not that many. I means that we can use it while we are there this December and again on our trip next October. I thought that it was very good value for money if you are going more than once a year.

I am also interested in the 3 months IOA/universal passes from Costco. But we also live in the UK so what happens with postage and would a uk membership to costco be considered valid.

thanks

I love the yearly passes...we just did ours for I think $90 each....we go sometimes just for a meal about 30 times a year...so it works out really cheap...

You might want to check the date this thread was originally posted as these tickets are most probably no longer available[msnwink]

We bought a 2 park/7 day ticket in the UK, when we got to US we asked how much it would cost to upgrade it to an annual ticket with NO blackout dates and parking included.

CC bill came this morning and it cost £36.00 per ticket - ask at guest services if you buy a UK ticket and want to upgrade to an annual pass.
