Pet plan is the best, no messsing around and whole of life cover (very important), I studied many plans and the cheaper ones do not give whole of life cover.

I am a vet and would recommend Pet Plan. They are the only company I would insure my own animals with. Take time to read the small print. If you have not got a leaflet DM me your address and I will send you one:)
Thanks guys,
Sounds like pet plan is the one to go for and their whole of life cover, can always count on good advice from this site[clap]
I have been recommended Marks and Spencers too
Jo, be very careful. Many companies are offering great deals on premiums to get you to sign up. M&S even do a policy with no excess. However over the years I have seen many policies which start cheap and then the premiums undergo huge hikes (I have even seen over £100 a month premiums) when the company no longer wants to insure your pet. By that time your pet has probably had a few illnesses and these and related conditions will be excluded from any new insurance policy you will take out. Pet insurance is not like home or motor insurance. You do not get an exclusion for roundabouts put on once you have crashed into someone on a roundabout. With pet insurance one bout of diarrhoea could mean you then would have an exclusion on gastrointestinal problems on your insurance if you choose the wrong policy and need to change. Pet Plan have been in the pet insurance market for years and are very ethical in my experience.
