Clare
For those who don't read the Telegraph - could you summarise what it says?
Basically that after two years of hurricanes (Charlie in August 2004 hit the area very hard) the area is good place to buy into. Three-bed/two-bath home in rotonda quoted at £185,000 (I shall pass no comment on that valuation!. Placida prices start around the £250,000.00 level.
The actual expression used is that the area is 'Florida's Tommorowland'.
Certainly as a Rotonda owner I can vouch for the amount of building that is going on within Charlotte County.

Thanks for that. It's a lovely area of Florida.
I know I'm biased but I do think Rotonda West is an ideal place, every one is so polite and so happy.
We just love Rotonda and the beaches are so close and just out of this world and I almost for got the shopping is excellent.
