Hey guys - is there a resource for finding out dates of breaks in Florida? We're looking to go in April/May 2008, and want to avoid Spring Break and other times when Americans will be on their jollies too...

Hi- My kids have a week off the week of April 22,2007. This is usually when they have vacation in our area(new england) The only time they have off in May is at the end of the month for Memorial Day usually around the 30th.
Spring breaks vary across the US so it may be a bit tricky to plan April- I think May may be a safer bet to avoid the crowds.

Our area is off beginning Monday the 16th of April 2007 and we are also in New England. Each state varies, and then the private schools set their own vacations. Not sure of the 2008 dates yet. We always start the 3rd Monday in April . Some schools that start earlier in the fall have a March break. We usually head to Florida on our April vacation and it is usually not too crowed unless the week happens to fall at Easter like last year.
Do the weeks vary greatly from state to state in the USA?
We are in NH and our kids have the last full week of April for their spring break.
