Karen, if you turn into Downtown Disney at the junction just before Cirque du Soleil, there is usually plenty of parking there behind the CdS building - that's where we always park, as we hate driving round the car park trying to find a space...

Good luck - there's usually plenty of spaces at that end (that is until now - when everyone who reads this will be parking there!!!)[msnwink]

we were there 2 weeks ago - no problems parking at all at this end! most people drive around in circles looking for spaces at the Downtown end and would not walk from the Disney Quest end.

We did the evening show in August 2005, were advised to turn up about 45mins earlier as parking shouldn't be a problem, but its getting into the show on time that is. Whay ever you do don't miss the opening bit.

Park near the Virgin Megastore and walk through, we have never had a problem. A fabulous, fabulous show, you will enjoy it so much.

Definately get there in plenty of time - loads of parking. Make sure you catch the pre-show bits......but don't let a clown show you to your seat, or you'll end up as part of the pre-show
Brilliant show [clap]

I shall watch out for the clowns then Paul [msnwink]

We went to Cirque du Soleil tonight, best nights entertainment ever! Well worth a visit if you haven't seen it, too difficult to put into words how good it is. Definately going again next time we are over and taking our friends and their kids.

Amazing [clap][clap][clap]

Can anyone tell me what time this show starts and finishes and is it suitable for a 4 year old who finds it difficult to sit still for more than 5 minutes.

Thanks

Sandra

Shows at 6pm & 9pm for 1+3/4 hours. Yes, a 4 year old would be amazed and enthralled. Parking was easy at the front but we arrived 1 hour before.

Apparently tickets available are Category 2, however, seat numbers/letters are not shown. When checking seating chart this category has several sections...some to the extreme right and left of the stage, others in what appears to be balcony seating. Is any choice given for exact seats to be purchased or do you just take a chance?

15-03-2008, 13:02
In my opinion, having been twice I think being to close to the front is a waste as you will spend most of the time looking up and getting neck ache! Cat 2 is better and either slightly left or right of stage is ok too[msnsmile2] There is not a balcony just seating higher up and we were in the front few rows of this section - 204 or 205 I think from memory and it was great[msnsmile2]

We have sat at the front and also half way back. Both have good views but further back is slightly better. I don't believe you can choose your seats, just specify the category. We booked twice through www.park-tickets.com and are taking friends again in April.

We booked at the venue and got to choose our exact seats both times[msnsmile2]

Yes you can do this but there are no discounts when booking direct.

Its really worth getting your tickets from parktickets above as the prices are great and the seats we had were brilliant, such a brilliant show you could probably go several times and still be enthralled as there is so much going on.

This is why I love this site, information abounds! One more question, in checking dates can only see through September, we will be there in October. Does site only list tickets six months at a time or is my computer acting up :)

Everyone is right about loads of parking this end. We were there the other evening and although we wanted to eat at the market place we parked near cirque de solei and caught the water taxi from behind house of blues across to the other side. Very easy and no driving around for a space.

I didn't know there was a water taxi, so that's really handy to know how much does it cost? and where does it unload you?

rosie

Caroline, the taxi's are free and they stop off at 3 sections of Downtown - Marketplace drop off is by the Margarita stand, PI drop off is behind HoB and Westside is behind Cirque de Soleil.

Cheers Rosie, that's really handy[msnsmile2]
