Marco Island

Hi, We are visiting Marco Island from the UK at the end
of September staying at the Marco Island Hilton Resort.
Looking for reasonable places to eat in the evening not too
far from the hotel. Any advice will be really appreciated.
Also is end of September, early October hurricane season?
Any advice about Marco e.g. shopping, things to do would be
appreciated

I went to Marco Island in July and thought it was beautiful!! Visited the Hilton also and the hotel is beautiful. The beaches are the best and the water is soo warm there compared to the east coast this year. They have alot of clothing stores for the beach and I bought a bathing suit at a place called Beach Wave. Also they have all the big grocery stores there ie Public etc..Will get back to you on the names of the resturaunts as I cannot remember there names but Marco Island has a little newspaper that advertises all there resturaunts.

We stayed in a villa a few years ago.

you can eat outside and watch the sea otters and dolphins swimming in the river.

Yes that is the name of the resturaunt where we ate. The food was pretty good and the view spectacular. I would recommend this place and prices are reasonable.
