Hi all, just 13 days 'till we go.
Can anyone tell us if DC produce a DVD for you while you swim with dolphins, similar to the sort of thing you get if you go sky diving, or do you take your own?
Also, can you take your own underwater cameras with you or do you have to purchase special ones because of the animals (like with the suntan lotion)?

We took our own underwater cameras and got some brilliant photo's. We also purchased the dvd which was quite expensive but it's worth it.[msnwink]

Thanks, but was the DVD actually of you with the dolphins or just Discovery Cove in general?
and did you buy your cameras over here or somewhere like Wal Mart over in Florida?

The video that we got was of us swimming with the dolphins - although because we were in a group there are also other people on there (about 6 others).
They didnt do a DVD when we went 18 months ago - but maybe they've caught up now, or you can just transfer it to DVD when you get back
As for cameras - we bought some underwater ones from Tesco before we went because they were on offer but we did see them as well in Walmart once we arrived. Either way they don't cost the earth but they were good enough for the kids to play with.

you can take a waterproof/underwater camera into discovery cove with you but NO CAMERAS whatsoever are allowed in the dolphin lagoon

the dvd consists of some park advertising and information and then your dolphin interaction starting with the prep talk in the cabana beforehand

you're going to have a great time, don't forget to post some photos for us when you get back[msnwink]
