I have stayed at Lake Berkley twice. It is a lovely gated community only a couple of minutes from Highway 192 and Walmart.
I'm almost certain there is a community pool, there is a gym. The lakes are beautiful you will love it there.[msnsmile2]
Have a look at this page.

Hi Mandy,
We have a townhouse at Lake Berkley. I am sure that you will enjoy your holiday there immensely. It's a gated resort just two minutes from the 192 highway and a massive Walmart Supercenter, but once through the gates , you could be in the countryside as the community surrounds a large , natural spring fed lake with lovely nature trail walks. There are around 130 privately owned pool homes and 66 townhomes there. All residents and guests can use the clubhouse and large heated pool and jaccuzzi spa. There are also tennis, volleyball and basketball courts. The clubhouse has a well equipped fitness studio , pool tables , arcade type games, air hockey and fast internet connected computers.
The resort is around ten minutes drive from Disney World and also Seaworld, and around twenty minutes from Universal. There are many shops, retail outlets, restaurants , markets and dinner shows within a few minutes drive, also miniature golf and airboats.
If I can help with any specific questions please send me a Direct Message.
Hope you have a brilliant time. (We're there in October too! weather is usually great - around mid 80s with fairly low humidity) [msncool]

Hi Kevin and Caitlin,
Thanks very much for all your comments, Lake Berkley sounds like a great community to visit. We have been to Florida before and this time we are travelling with a family who have never visited before so we want to try and make it a visit to remember. Staying in a good community is a good start.
Kevin - perhaps we will bump into you on our visit!!
thanks once again for your comments, much appreciated
Mandy
