Driving to & from the Orlando Airport

I have always used the Beeline Expressway / I-4 route to and from the Orlando International Airport during our previous visits. This time though, we land in Orlando in the middle of the evening rush hour and want to use the South Access Road to get out of the airport and then US417 to go towards WDW. We have rented a villa to the southwest of WDW on the US27 near its junction with US192 and therefore will need to get on to the 192 to reach our destination. The problem is that I am not totally certain how to get from the US417 on to the US192 an there seems to be no direct junction between the two roads on the maps.

As far as I can make out, we have 2 alternatives: leave the 417 at Exit 3 and join the Osceola Parkway (522) going west; then turn left into World Drive away from WDW and drive south briefly to join the 192 and turn right towards the villas. OR, join the Osceola Parkway as above, but get onto I-4 briefly at Exit 65 only to leave it at Exit 64 to get onto the US192. Can someone tell me which manouvre is better on a Thursday evening at around 5pm, which is when we will end up there?

Which development are you staying on Nostromo? if it's on the 27 you don't need to go onto the 192, when you leave the I4 at junction 54 you will be able to join the 27 directly or if you come off at 58 you will go through Championsgate and then onto Ronald Reagan Parkway (CR54) and onto 27.
When you do want to go to 192 you just follow US27 Northwards to junction with 192.

Have a look at http://www.kissimmee-us192.com/British/airport_routes.htm. This gives detailed directions using the US417 as well as photos of the route. We use US417 whenever we go over and it is a very easy route (and I think it's now preferred to Beeline by many).

I've just tried out the link I've just posted and it doesn't go straight to the right page - you'll need to click on Airport Driving Routes (under the "British" section). It mentions the US27 area on page 8 (but I don't think the directions will take you right there).

To get to our villa at Clear Creek near the 192/27 junction, we would leave the 417 at Exit 2, take a right onto Celebration Ave, then left onto the 192.

We are at "Orange Tree", which I believe is very close to the junction of US27 with US192.

We are at "Orange Tree", which is very near Clear Creek I think. So, what you are saying is to leave the 417 at Exit 2 bearing right onto Celebration Avenue and then turn left onto 192? That sounds very helpful thnks. Has the Celebration Avenue got a number or otherwise marked so that we don't miss it?

I think Orange Tree is to the north of the junction with 192 so that way will get you there or if you have to make a diversion come off 27 at Junction 54 onto 27 and just follow north and it will take you there as well.
