Today I booked my flights for christmas 2007.

I don't know how they do it, but the price that they quoted me was less then booking direct with Virgin including my 10% frequent flyer discount[clap][clap][clap][clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]

Flying 15th December 2007 - 1st Jan 2008 from LGW - MCO with 7 seater mini van with Platinum insurance for 5 adults £2938.00[msntongue]

Well done again Charter Travel![msnwink]

Very good, have a nice time. I am sure it will be warmer in FL than over here.

Is that normal for Virgin Airlines to have their schedules and prices published 18 months in advance?

Their web site only shows dates to June 2007.

caroline sometimes it comes down to what air miles you get with the flight as well. the virgin site is commonly the most expensive, i dont think they want to be seen as a discounter. they seem to sell off great swathes of tickets for bucket shops and travel agents to pass on.
we have used charter before and one or two others from teletext, all are regularly cheaper than mr branson . com! and you can often pick up kids to 16 or free car upgrades

enjoy your holiday[msnsmile2]

Fly-drives and packages are sold a lot earlier than flight only.
I had a flight with Virgin, which I booked early with Charter, which had a voucher for a 2 night stay in some motel(!!).
I suppose this qualified as a 'package' so could be sold earlier...still stayed in the villa for the entire duration though.:)

If you check Fly-drives/holidays on the Virgin site then they are already selling past December 2007....
