Hiya just wondering if any-one had heard that Jaws has been shut??
Daughter is very pleased as she hates sharks..but the rest of us are dissappointed. Is this rumour true???
Do you mean Jaws at Universal? I read somewhere that it was closed, but has been refurbished for 2006, and is now open again and better than before - not good news for your daughter, but great for the rest of you![msnsmile2]

i think it was last year it was closed for refurbishment, i remember posting something about it

It's well and truly open!
My eldest loves this ride and so does his mate!
Just come back this morning, and they were on it on Saturday! Both got soaked!! :D

Yep, it's up and running. Personally I think it was ready for a refurb. You have to try it again as one or two slight changes have been made, but not going to spoil the surprise by telling you what.

We were on it yesterday. on the subject of rides Back to future was also open yesterday. I was under the impression that it was going to be a new ride.

Same here, I was surprised to find it open a couple of weeks ago, the others went on but I sat it out[sick][sick]
I also heard that it was closing at the end on November and that it might be a ride that was something to do with the Simpsons ( I hate the Simpsons too ! )

we where there First week in November 06
and it was still open
in fact a friend of ours Daughter was in Training for the Jaws Ride ,
it take three weeks full Time training to work on the ride
so I don't think it will be closing soon
I heared it was the Back to the Future Ride which was closing
and becoming the Simpson's
but that was also Open in November
as back to the future

We were at MGM in October this year and Jaws was open. My son loved it, my husband got very wet and I just closed my eyes when he came close. Very enjoyable and will definitely be going again when we are next in Flordia.
Since when has Jaws been at MGM ? [msnembarrased]
Went went on The Jaws ride at Universal in Aug 2005

ummm thought I had had a brandy too many then, Jane and Fraser[msnwink] I for one was pleased that Back to the Future was still open at the end of October, it gave our daughter a chance to try it.[msnsmile2] I went on it a few years ago..but never again[sick] She thought it was good, and was pleased she got the chance to give it a go!!
