It seems that some of the scheduled flydrive packages for 2007 are now available.

I have been quoted £1800 for 2 Adults 2 Kids flying ex Manchester 14/12/07 for 18 nights including midsize car with full insurance.

My question is should I book this now or will I get a better deal when the alternative options go on sale?

Prices generally go up on December 15th or 16th, this means that 14th and 13th sell out very quickly.

Normal plane seats arnt released to about 11 months before the date of travel, and you need to wait to that time before your return date to book return tickets. This means peole going for short trips can book before you.

This seems a good price to me anyway and it all depends on whether you are prepared to risk playing the waiting game or secure your flights now.

Also if you're going to book a villa start sending out enquiries now as some owners have already booked Christmas 2007. The sooner you start looking the better choice you will have

I am looking to book my x-mas 2007 flights, can you tell me who you got this quote from?

Also, when are you allowed to book the flights?

Have you tried the link for Florida flights at the top of this page? It might be worth giving them a ring first.

If it was me and I wanted Christmas 2007 then I'd go for it now.
£1800 sounds a good for flights, car hire with all insurance and I'm not sure if you'll get it cheaper than that.

If anyone is insterested - its good old Virgin that are prebooking for x-mas 2007.

Just costed mine - cost £3162.00 for 5 adults - included 7 seater mini van and platinum insurance![msnwink]

i thought that you could not book tickets until 330 days before departure?

Ticket only are released about 330 odd days before but packages are available before, I assume because Virgin Holidays can pencil in the seats on the flights for when they are released...

Probably some loophole between flight only sales and package/flydrive sales...

Prices only seem to go up on scheduled stuff as time goes by. Its usually the charters that go down but there aren't many of them out of summer season. Sounds like a good deal.
