I have just read something on another forum which is concerning me a bit. Apparently the Western Beltway toll road extension is now being built form the 192 to I4 near Champions Gate. There is to be a toll exit next to Indian Ridge and it cuts across all the sub-divisions near Splendid China. We are staying in a villa on Indian Ridge in September so I'm concerned about site traffic, noise etc. Does anyone know if there is any construction work started near Indian Ridge yet?

I would contact the villa owner to voice your concerns. Even if it does effect this area (which I can't help with), it may not effect your chosen villa.
THere has been very little disruption in the area at all, and no " complaints" from other villa owners about it, so I wouldn't worry -they do these things very professionally.

The other thing is that construction is not usually 'all day' but relatively sporadic, so even if you were directly adjacent to the construction, you may not be affected.
Please check with the owner of the villa, as they should be kept up to speed with the development by their management company.
I own at Oak Island Cove and have had no guest comments at all. Also, when I have been there myself there has been no noticeable activity at all.
