Hi
We are hiring a 7 seater, but I have just realised that my husband only has a uk 'paper' driving licence, not the credit card type of one!
Is this going to be a problem?
Thanks

Having a paper licence has never been a problem for me

I have a paper which i use at least twice a year in Florida without any problem what so ever.
I am going to get a photo one as it saves me having to carry my passport as ID.

Thanks to both of you!
It was just one of those little things that have been niggling away at me! Now I know for sure!!

Thanks again

We use both, I have the photo one and Diane the Paper one.
No issues!

Although the Photo one is far better as it can be used as Photo ID.

Safer than carrying your Passport with you!

Agreed, my paper one has never been a problem. I have just got a picture one for ID reasons.

Jacquie,

As the other repiles have said - No problem with the car hire. However sometimes at Theme Pareks (Sea world notably) and especially if you go to Disney Boardwalk or to dine in Disney Hotel (can recommend Bomas @ Animal Lodge - buffet)- the driver does need to show photo ID - so make sure hubby carries his passport. Bets to get a new style DL for next visit!
