Can anyone tell me if 'free drinks throughout the flight' on Virgin flights just aplies to soft drinks?

No, it applies to all drinks with the exception of champagne (you only get that before take-off in Premium Economy and throughout the flight in Upper) :D:D:D

Be warned a couple on our last Virgin flight made the most of the free drinks thing and got quite tipsy, when we were all standing waiting to get off at Orlando (which as you all know is a bit of a crush)the lady in her eagerness to get off tripped over her seat and fell head long into the crowd we thought it was quite funnt but we were standing behind her and not on the recieveing end of flaying arms !! although she was helped up and was trully sorry there were some very cross faces
Oh dear [:I] I must admit I would have found it extremely funny too :D

Glad to know we are not the only ones who have a warped sense of humour ;)
They do give free drinks the whole flight, they give out a warning about having too many
alcoholic drinks and say they will refuse if anyone looks worse for wear
