We are travelling out to Orlando this Saturday for 2 weeks staying on Tuscan Ridge.

As my wife 'celebrates' her 40th Birthday while we are there can anyone suggest a nice restaurant/night out appropriate for such an occasion. There are 3 adults and 2 teenagers in our party.

We have heard the restaurants in some of the Disney Hotels are good but only ever used them for the 'Character Breakfasts' before.

I know its last minute but all suggestions really appreciated.

Regards

Allan

Texas De Brazil is a nice place for adults and as your children are a bit older it might fit the bill.

Depending on what you are looking for Victoria and Alberts at the Grand Floridian is great for a special occasion. It is quite formal, but as your children are a bit older you may like to try it as a treat - have a look at this review and see http://www.onlinefloridavillas.com/orlando_guide/victoria-and-alberts.aspx

I can thoroughly recommend the California Grill at The Contemporary http://www.orlandovillas.com/florida_guide/california_grill.aspx or Citricos at the Grand Floridian - I'm sure there is a restaurant review for this I just can't find it at the moment[msnscared]

Quite agree CDV. A quality restaurant, good food and good service.

Villa de Flora at Gaylord Palms is a very superior buffet sytle restaurant. You could combine lunch here with a visit to Cirque du Soleil in the evening.
