Universal are offering Express Plus passes for sale as you enter the park. $25 per person, no discounts for children, they allow you to fastpass the standby queues once on every ride in the park.
We bought these for the family and they were a godsend. Shrek had a 90 min wait and the express pass machines were closed, and that was at 10 0'clock in the morning. I dont think we would have been on as much if we had not have bought them.
A little bit more expense on top of the ticket price (there are 5 of us) but well worth it.
