We are flying from Doncaster on the 9 July and are due to arrive at 14.50 Orlando time. Once we arrive we are then driving to Madeira Beach 2-21/2 hours driving time. I think the cup final is due to kick off at 14.00 so has anyone any ideas how my son and husband can get to see the match.
I thought if the final is scheduled to be shown on any TV programmes I could ask someone over at the coast to record it for me.
Any other ideas I would be most grateful.

Do they want it recorded without knowing who is playing in it?

The way would be to watch the highlights during the evening time or to watch the second half in the airport if there is any bar etc showing it there.
They do want to watch the match whoever is playing in it and they would prefer not to know the score until they watch it.

I would say with difficulty as it will be finished by the time you get out of the airport, pieman790 idea of watching the highlights sounds your best chance.

you would need to establish which channels (if any) were showing it over there.
Your best bet is on one of the Spanish-language channels. Much more likely they will be showing it than US English-language channel.

Sorry Mark, I must have misread the original post. I thought they wanted to record this years final, not a rerun of the one 40 yrs ago. [msnsmile]
