Going in October and would like to visit the Flea Market the trouble is I have heard there are two, one bigger than the other is this the case?We did visit one in 96 and it was great bought some great decorative candles and some personlized pictures which were very unusual at the time, but last Christmas they had a whole shop at Bluewater (local Shopping Mall)with exactly the same thing I wonder if it is the same person ? ONLY 98 DAYS TO GO[8D]

There are a couple of flea markets on Highway 192 (near Kissimmee Old Town and one near Wal-Mart) and also a Farmers' Market (ie a flea market!) near St Cloud, through Kissimmee (this last one is open on Friday, Saturdays & Sundays only). Going towards St Cloud, they're all on the left side of Highway 192.

Thanks Blott,
There is always a collective groan when I mention Shopping Iam the only female in my house and shopping is an ugly word unless your shopping for computor games or footie boots. Perhaps I`ll be brave and drive myself to the flea market and leave them round the pool what do you think lol

Oh, lots of trainers and computer games on sale at flea markets Kym so there should be no problem there! They even have refreshment stations and air fans these days!

The best Flea Market by far is Flea World up near Sanford. It's huge and their prices are generally lower than the one on the 192 (as they seem to have fewer tourists go up there). We always go to buy things like "fake" plants for the villa.

We went on our last trip-as we had a couple of hours to kill before our daughter arrived.

I don't know whether it's worth making that long trip up there-I think the St Cloud one is pretty good.

I know the flower stall you mean. It's pretty good-but when you think it is an hour's journey.

Just got back after visiting the indoor flee market opposite Old Town. outside it said 250 stalls I counted about sixty. The rest of the areas were closed off. First and last visit. Not anyway near as good as the one on mile marker 9.

I fancy trying the Flea Markets next trip (be next year now!) I only know of the 1 near Wal*mart on the 192, do we think that is the best in the area?

Actually, there are 3 major Flea Markets on US192 (and several smaller ones). There is the airconditioned Maingate Flea Market and the more open 192 Flea Market, both in the Kissimmee area. If you go a few miles east towards St Cloud, you have the Osceola Flea & Farmer's market which specialises in 'antiques'. I think part of this Flea market is open only on weekends.

The Osceola Farmers' one is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from about 9 am - 4.30 pm and they do sell a whole heap more than antiques!
