The cost of hiring a wheelchair at each park can be quite prohibitive. It may be a better idea to see if it would be cheaper for a guest to hire one outside the park or to bring one along with them. (Those that don't use them permanently of course). The airlines will take one free of charge in the hold.

Do you know prices? My father is waiting for a hip replacement so we talked about hiring the "motorised buggies" - don't know technical term - the ones he could control himself. Do you know how much these are to hire?

If you want anything in Orlando try this place, I haven't used them but somebody else said they were reasonable and offer free delivery to Orlando and Disney Area Hotels.
We have a couple who want to make use of them next year so kept the no.
Walker Medical & Mobility Products. Dial 1 800 SCOOTER or (407 331 9500

I think the disney motorised scooters were about $30 a day! That was a couple of years ago. A lot of money with a 5 day hopper pass!
