bad resturant!

We had a lot of fantastic nights dining out but on one night we had a bit of a dodgy experience when we tried to eat out at Aussie Steak house on I-Drive.
We walked in, the greeter couldn't find a waiter to seat us so asked us to wait at the bar while she sorted something out. whilst sitting at the bar 3 groups of people came in and were all seated whist we looked on, the barmaid came over and asked what we wanted to drink, we said we were waiting to be seated, she went and told the greeter who came over to us with the menu's but just as she was about to give them to us decided to walk off and sit some more people who had justed walked in - we got up and walked out, she didn't even notice us leave.

I was very angry but the Girlfriend was laughing we ended up going to TGI's, where we knew we would get noticed!!!

Don't you just hate it when this happens. Unusual for the US they are usually very efficient.

I was just about to say the same thing - one of the things we really love about Orlando is the high level of service - the experience you had is very unusual, so I expect you'd get better service on another occasion.

We've been there before and found it to be really good.

Maybe the others coming in had pre-booked, sometimes Steak Houses do get quite full and if they are popular it is good to book in advance.

We tried the Uno Chicago Grill & Pizza place at Lake Buenavista on Tuesday night - very disappointed. You can see why it was quiet. The drinks were extortionate and the food (what there was of it) ordinary to say the least. Not one we will return to!

Geoff what a shame[msnsad]We went there last year for the first time and thought it was fantastic:) Food was excellent and the price was extremeley reasonable for what we had:) My only comment was that we found the lighting a bit dim (I put that down to my age mind you[msnwink]).
I was looking forwarded to going again too:)

Geoff. We had the exact same experience last September and put it on our never again list. I thought it was just me as it normally gets great reviews. Think it was the only place the wife has ever not eaten her pizza as she hated it. She atleast normally eats it ,but couldn't here.

Well I don't want to slate the place as I am sure many have found it OK but just wanted to share our BAD experience with you all. Looks like at least Knoobyknowles also shared a similar experience.
