Metropolis at Pointe Orlando

Has anyone been to the Metropolis club at Pointe Orlando? Certain fixed and pre-announced nights apart, I have heard it is suitable for 30 or 40 somethings also? We don't want to go to a place full of teens (I've nothing against them; some of the teens in our own party are going to the Matrix) and so all us 'mature' people want to know is whether Metropolis is OK for people who think they are grown up.

Sorry no-one has been able to help with your query. We have been to Pointe Orlando loads-but never noticed a club.

It must be upstairs. There are quite a few eateries and bars upstairs at Pointe Orlando and the shops stay open till 11pm-so you could go along-and if you don't fancy it then the night's not wasted.

There's also a nice cinema there that we have been to.

Thanks. Apparently, this club is quite new and Simon Veness' Brit guide gives it good reviews. Its cousin is the Matrix, aimed at teenagers and youngsters while the Metropolis itself is supposed to be for more mature clientale. If anyone going to Orlando in the near future has a spare night, might be worth checking this out for the rest of us. I undersatnd that the Pointe Orlando night scene is building up to compete with Pleasure Island and City Walk.
