Has anybody eaten here?
I was reading a review about it and it sounded rather nice. I would prefer a personal recommendation though.

It came as very highly recommended in this years Fodors Carol. I'd never heard of it either.
Is this the place that is opposite Bahama Breeze across the I4? There is a hooters there and a crazy golf.

It is definitely in that area Paul
I have read a review of it and it was well praised too. Was thinking of trying it during our next trip!

Didn't see it when i went to the Crossroads 2 weeks ago Wednesday. I did play Pirates Cove Golf though :D
Quite pricey - I read a couple of poor reviews, saying overpriced and over expensive. I believe there was also another branch at Winter Park, but may have closed down
I have eaten there a few times and the food has been quite good. The menu choice is large and most people would not have a problem finding something they liked. The prices are slightly higher than average but not over the top.
Friday and Saturday evening you can get a long wait so you may want to check before you park.
Regards Dave
We ate at Pebbles last August for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. Our MC recommended it to us and we really enjoyed it. It wasnt the romantic meal we originally planned. We were originally going somewhere much more romantic and leaving the kids at the villa (not young kids I might add, 21, 17 and 9 at the time) but they sulked so we decided we would try Pebbles and took them with us. The menu was quite different and really well presented and we enjoyed it very much. I would certainly go there again, and make sure I took my reading glasses with me, as I couldnt read half of the menu last time having forgot them![msneek][msnmad] I seem to make it a habit of forgetting my glasses when going out to eat and it is rather annoying having to ask somebody to read the whole menu.

Thanks guys. From what I had read I expected it to be a little bit different as the write up says "gourmet menu without paying gourmet prices".
Planning to give it a try sometime.

Yes Liz it is good.
It is a franchise, and some Pebbles are better than others.
We first went to one just off I4 at Altemonte Springs and when we went to the LBV one we were slightly disappointed, as the food and service were not quite as good.
When going again, after we found that the one in Altemonte had closed down, we were pleasantly surprised, as the food was good anyway, and at a reasonable price.
They have a good selection of menus and the food is very tasty.

We quite often pop over to Crossroads Liz so when we are there in a couple of weeks I will take a peak[msnwink] i think the last we were at Crossroads we tries Uno's Restaurant for the first time that was very nice:)
We have eaten there several times - very nice food, the prices are probably a bit more comparable with the UK than the USA, but the portions are definately not! [msnsmile2]
