Thank you so much. Raising money for any leukaemia charity is close to our hearts. You see, some time ago our 4 year old daughter was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukaemia. Thankfully, 18 years on, she is the picture of good health but we still like to do what we can for any leukaemia charity.
Keep those clicks coming!!!
Many thanks[clap][clap][clap]

Delighted to click, its great to learn that your daughter successfullly came through that terrible time . Its the type of situation that unless you have lived through it you can only im agine how difficult it is . Stuart you are doing great work highlighting the Anthony Nolan Trust we shall all do lots of clicks here.
Thanks Olive. Although Louise didn't have a bone marrow transplant, as chemo worked for her, others aren't so fortunate.
Thanks again for keeping on clicking[msnsmile2][clap][msnsmile2]

Glad to hear that your daughter's treatment was successful. My 3 year old great neice started her treatment in November, she is now in remission but will not be given the all clear for another 2 years. She started to walk again a month ago, and apart from her thinning hair you would never know how ill she is.
Clicked twice and will email friends

We wish your great niece well and hope things go from strength to strength for her. Its wonderful to hear those words 'she's in remission'. In Louise's case, we had to wait for 5 years until they said she was in the clear. Even now, she goes back to Great Ormond Street for check-ups. They've said she can be discharged but are happy for her to continue as an out-patient for as long as she likes.
Thanks to you all for keeping this an active topic. Although, I'm getting worried that you'll all end up with RSI of the index finger from all the clicking[msnwink]
Many, many thanks once again[clap]

Thanks Stuart & Kim must remember to tell my neice about Louise but will leave out the 5 years bit, at the moment the 2 years seems pretty daunting. Saw them yesterday and she was a bit stressed to say the least. Jasmine's blood count is down and has had 2 blood transfusions this week already, whilst awaiting a phonecall from the nurses's she managed somehow to get her arm caught in the back of a wooden chair. Panic stations as she had broken her arm at the beginning of her treatment and just had plaster removed. Called the fire service and they managed to get the chair apart with an allen key. They gave her £1 for being a good girl.
Oh poor Jasmine. She's certainly been through the mill. As the song says 'Things can only get better'[msnsmile2]

Kaye's nephew Jake died from Aplastic Anaemia in December 1997 and we are all heavily involved with the Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust. They have actually named a room at the Anthony Nolan Research Centre in London after him.

Just added another £5 worth of clicks :D
Is everyone else still clicking?
I have been adding £5 of "clicks" each time I visit the forum.
I tend to log on 3 or 4 times a day so I guess I must of added around £300 since my last posting on this thread. It's a lot easier than running a marathon or abseiling down a building like some of my friends have done.
Chatting on the forum is a lot more enjoyable as well.:D

Hi,
I've just joined in the 'clicking fun'!
I wonder if there is a way of finding out how much has been raised so far with all the clicks?
I will continue with the clicking and I'll also pass the link around.
