Theres plenty to do and see in Orlando for Halloween, the parks do a bit of themeing which the kids love, Celebration looks great with alot of the houses done up with decorations, they really make a big thing of it in the US, but its great for kids.[msnsmile]

For the younger kids, you just can't beat a night at Magic Kingdom, for older kids I think it has to be Universal. You just can't go wrong in Orlando over the Halloween holiday, it is one of the best IMHO! :)

Universal for older kids and young at heart adults wins hands down.

The thing with Universal Jo, is that you can go in there all of October for the Halloween Horror Nights, not just Halloween Night. Although I must say it can be a bit intense for small children. If you do have small children then there is "Mickey's not so scary halloween" at the Magic Kingdom.

I would go to a park on one of the nights before / after Halloween and go around Celebration on Halloween itself. You could get the kids dressed up and take them trick or treating :D

We did this 18 months ago and would do it again. We did feel a little left out as most people were dressed up for the occassion.
We walked onto most of the big rides. Dont miss the parade.

Don't forget that Halloween nights start late Sep so if you are over any time from them you can still take part.We went to the Universal one in early October and it was a great night but seriously scary.

We were advised that it is best to go on a weeknight if possible

The only problem is my brothers two children are young 10 and 6 where mine are17/14 so maybe they would be best at Disney and us at universal
