how about a new shortlist like on the villa websites but insted you put in topics you like so you can go back to them when you want.:D
You can subscribe to an individual topic now - when you are reading one oyu are interested in, click on the 'subscribe to topic' link on the top right, a box will open up to confirm that you are now subscribed and then you will receive an e-maill each time someone posts on that particular topic.
