Hello!

We are intersted in purchasing a villa with a pool in Florida around the Orlando area.
We would like to rent the villa to prospective holidaymakers.
We are not sure what areas to look at in terms of good quality location and good rental returns.
We would like to hear from anyone with any information that would be helpful to us!
We will be staying in Indian Ridge from July-August this Summer and would also be keen to visit any estate agencies that may be able to show us round. Can you recommend anyone as we are from Kent UK and we do not know our way round!

Regards

Jeremy & Teresa

Hi Jeremy & Teresa,

If you look under the "Buying a Villa" section, and find the "Would you do it again" thread, you might find enough information to scare you off buying one at all!! [}:)]

The estate agent system is very different over there, and any realtor is free to show you any property (not like here), if you go to www.realtor.com you'll find a database of all the properties up for sale which will give you an idea of prices etc

Good Luck :)

We recently bought a beautiful villa on Calabay Parc. We are very pleased with our purchase. There are still a number of lots available on this community. I'll send you a private note of the realtor that helped us.

Be very careful...there are tons of sharks out there ....base price new 4 bedroom 2 bath villa's starting at over two hundred and thirty thousands....by the time you add all the extra's you can say goodbye to another forty thousand or so....a couple where we have our home being built paid one hundred and eighty five thousand for a villa around 2,135 sq ft with pool.. blinds etc....4 beds 3 bath.....I know its a great place.....cus its the same villa I have.....lol...
