For those travelling to Florida with kids, what are there favourite eateries? Ours like all different so we have to put it to the vote.

Does anybody have any recommendations of what's a big hit with your kids?

Thanks

Although not specifically for children my 2 (5 and 11) like Logan's Roadhouse on the 192 - I think it is the novelty of throwing peanut shells on the floor, they do great food too. Another favourite is Joe's Crabshack near Celebration on the 192, the servers are entertaining and often break into dance! For a treat they also like The Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdon or Downtown Disney, and for something completely different Kobe Japanese Steak house where the chef cooks in front of you.
My mouth is watering now with all this talk of restaurants[msntongue]

Our son is 9 and he loves The Rainforest Cafe, Fultons, and The Earl of Sandwich all at Downtown Disney. We also tried the Hard Rock Cafe last year with him which he enjoyed but it didn't have such a good range of food for children as other places - Sam is really fussy and won't eat meat and thinks burgers and chicken nuggets are disgusting so we always have to try and find somewhere that sells decent fish dishes for children (and not just fish fingers either!) - not normal I know!!
Mama Melroses in MGM is also somewhere he enjoyed.

Hope your kids aren't as fussy as he is!

Mine are fussy, and never seem to agree on the same place, typical kids!!! They all enjoy Olive Garden, and enjoyed Hard Rock Cafe. They disagreed on Houlihans, and preferred Paris Planet Hollywood to Florida, but I think we caught them on a bad day.

Our kids ages are 6, 14 and 17 so we like everyone to have a choice at some point in the holiday, as there is a big age difference.

They are compiling a list for our next visit.

William loves The Rain Forest Cafe, Planet Hollywood,Golden Corral,Chinese from Old Town(takeaway)Logans Road House.
He also loves Hooters and cant wait to go back there next year (he is 7 years).

He sits here and home and it might be his day for choosing food for lunch (im banking on him saying beans on toast) and he will say he fancies one of the above then we get where the best fries are where the best pizza is etc etc.

When my kids were younger they loved Jungle Jims at The Crossroads, Lake Buenavista. It's the only place where they liked to eat a burger in Florida. Race Rock was and still is a favourite. They love La Forchetta on 17/92 near Kissimmee because pasta with any kind of sauce is one of their favourite meals and the pizza is wonderful too.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

We have passed the Rain forrest before but there always seems to be a big queue and we are not people for queuing so we give it a miss.
Whats in there and what sort of food do they do? Is it worth the queue or can you reserve a table?
