The highlight of our recent trip to WDW was seeing the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom. I don't know if this is new but it came as a surprise to us and I have trawled these sites for months! We were up super early due to jet lag and decided to get to the magic kingdom early. About 15 minutes before the park was due to open dancers appeared on the balcony of the station and did a song and dance before Mickey and friends appeared on the train. This really made our first day special and my little girl was completely astounded. We loved it so much we did it again on our last day. Really nice for day 1 as a magical start to the holiday!
