View Full Version : Pool Complexes
I am looking into vacation homes rentals for the first time. One of our requirements is a nice pool complex (resort style pool with water slides). Lazy river would be a plus. Can anyone tell me if their communities have these pool facilities? I've been looking at each community but without much luck and it is very time consuming. Thanks for your help and time.

Welcome to the forum.
I think I'm right in that only one or 2 of the newer communities may have resort style pools as in the main guests tend to be using the water parks at Disney etc or they just want to relax in which case they prefer to sit by the side of the villa pool, dipping in and out as they wish, with no fighting over loungers etc.
At Hampton Lakes we also have a community pool , but it is just a larger pool. However I'm sure you'll find that the other facilities many developments (including ours ) have will more than offset the lack of water slide and lazy river. For instance we have floodlit tennis/basketball courts, sand volleyball and a couple of small childrens tot lots so there are activities to suit all ages etc.
I think most people temd to go to the Water Parks for that sort of facility. AS far as villas go most people just seem to enjoy relaxing by their own pool or in a Spa if the home has one.

Wait a couple of years and there will be a fabulous water park at Tierra Del Sol.
It is a long time coming, with many changes to the original design, but it promises to be a bit special.
Their website has been expanded recently to show more of what is planned and if everything that is promised can be delivered, you will have a fantastic time there.
In the meantime, I hope you find a vacation complex to suit your needs.

Hello Mainer
Regal Palms Resort is one community that has a pool complex with lazy river and waterslide. There is also a fitness suite that has recently opened with sauna, steam room and indoor jacuzzi.

I will be there in 17 days [clap]
We like to have our own pool to relax in, and visit the water parks such as Typhoon Lagoon for excitement.:D
