If you can get Fox news (Channel 531 on Sky) there is now live coverage of a hostage situation in a Kissimmee bank. I don't know that area well but I guess a lot of forum members will.

was there, just down the road from us, we were stopped by the sheriff and sent down an old closed road. Eventually ended in the evening with the male bank robber being shot dead and the remaining hostage and the female bank robber unharmed. There had been three hostages but two had been released earlier leaving just one female hostage.

Oh my God, how scarey. Glad to hear it was all under control and none of the hostages harmed.

Not scarey for us, although it was for the poor hostages, have to admit to finding it all a bit exciting with the helicopters the tank, the swat teams, armed sheriffs etc. This does make me sound awful and perhaps unfeeling but I think most of us get a little excited about drama. Last year I was there for one of the hurricanes and I woke early not to miss anything and filmed it, found it rather exciting and must admit being disappointed not to see a tornado. (Goodness does make me sound odd but really I am fairly normal, honest!!;))
